Transportation and Its Role in Aging in Place

This presentation will provide an overview on why transportation is crucial in helping older adults age in place in Manitoba. We will explore the in’s and outs from planning at a high level all the way down to what individuals can do to help themselves on a personal level. Just like all things community development, transportation planning requires support and dedication from everyone to ensure that older adults have the opportunity thrive and move around freely with dignity and ease.
